We recently completed a project with a creative membrane solution for hydrogen separation in glycol manufacturing…And we published a white paper about it!
This project was unique because the feed gas operated at a low pressure, which meant that our typical process gas membrane separators were over-engineered for the system. Our team creatively proposed the idea to utilize a new membrane separator which is designed for small process gas and biogas separations.

Our membranes facility in Norway specializes in shipboard nitrogen membrane solutions. The NC 1 membrane system is the smaller unit in the series and supplies up to 420 cubic meters of nitrogen per hour. See the features, specifications, and operating functions of the NC1 here.
Our Air Products Norway office was recently nominated for the ONS Innovation Award 2016. The focus of this recognition centered on the team’s revolutionary membrane system concept for CO2 capture.

A pilot membrane system for CO2 capture is already in operation at a cement factory in Brevik, Norway. Future large-scale developments are underway.
